The 21st Century Christian Church

2 Timothy 3:16-17

All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God,
and
[is] profitable for doctrine,
for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

The church needs to return to the old-time teaching and preaching with reverence for the living God. Church has become a place of entertainment rather than preaching the word. There seems to be no more sinners to be converted or sick to be healed. Yet, they are present before us in multiple ways. Why has the people of the 21st Century church become so worldly-minded, helpless and powerless? Something is wrong; not with Jesus’ gospel or God, but with the ones who once represented holiness and who taught the Scriptures as they were meant to be. The sickness of complacency has taken over, and world standards have become the norm.

The 21st Century Church

Evidence is present before us every day that we need to return to true holiness if we are going to win the world as witnesses for Jesus Christ.

Christians ought to live and behave with Christlikeness by being salt and lights in the world [Matthew 5:13, 16; Roman 12:1-2]. It is time for repentance, beginning with acknowledgement of sin, and confession. When we have fulfilled these preliminaries, revival will come; and not before.
