Although there are many versions of the Bible the King James Bible is the main text
here at STC where we study the Word.
We Study the Word because:
For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is ]a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12
Here at STC, we are compelled to reach the hearts of people through teaching of the WORD with the KJV [King James Version] as our Bible of choice. The KJV has had centuries of accomplishments, and the main text generations used to teach their children as they develop in preparation to face the world. Our commitment requires us to present God’s WORD as the primary source of knowledge to a dying world. The Word states, “All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
Moreover, the KJV bears evidence that people suffered for its translation and publication. William Tyndale and others gave their lives so that we could have this precious gift of the Bible in our hands. Despite the sentence of death hanging over them, those persons pursued their goal of getting the Bible into the hands of those who valued and accepted the Scriptures as the infallible WORD spoken by God to holy men who obeyed Him. “For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke [as they were] moved by the Holy Ghost.” (2 Peter 1:21).
According to Jude 1:3, ” Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort [you] that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” This is our main focus which bears out the reason for using the King James Version of the Bible since there are many versions each with its own interpretation of the Scriptures. The KJV is unparallel to any other versions despite how modern the language maybe. Consequently, we aim to educate believers in Christ so that they have an accurate and clear understanding of God’s Word. Members cannot know unless they are taught. Therefore, we need willing, qualified, anointed and called leaders who will lead and teach the people God has placed in their hands. That person must be willing to contend for the faith.
Fulfil Your Calling to Serve
Were you called by God to study His Word? Do you need a sturdy Scriptural foundation? Let STC be the place to fulfill your aspirations. We offer several levels of studies beginning with the certificate courses, and the core courses, which are mandatory for the selected major. Students may also use electives pertaining to the degree being pursued. Those who transfer from another institution or who have applicable credits will be excused from the Foundational Certificate program. This program is specifically for those who do not meet the eligible application requirement for entry at STC.
The aim of STC is to be unique, and not to be a prototype of other institutions. Our expectation is that the student will gain a comprehensive knowledge of the Word based on the Christian Faith to help the one who has been called to be a minister, or therapist. That person will be armed with acute spiritual perception and wisdom from the Holy Spirit to penetrate problematic and challenging situations in a spiritual and practical manner with the effective use of the inspired and powerful WORD [Hebrews 4:12]. Our hope is that all students will take away an experience that will draw him or her closer to the Lord.
What does the Word Say?
Our programs are based strictly on the authentic Word of God to make disciples for Christ who will take the gospel to the world [Matthew 28:19-20]. They are prepared directly from the word in response to, What does the Word say? If this type of study is what the student is looking for, then this institution is the right place.
The Word of God has the answers to all our needs. What is most important is that we obey those teachings and not follow the ways of the world. Everyone looks forward to hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” Matthew 25:23.
Jesus said: “How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that comes from God only” John 5:44 [KJV].
Therefore, what is most important is that we are in the will of God. Recognizing the imminent coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, we must endeavour to produce persons who are serious about Kingdom Building and being prepared for His return.
Make STC your Choice

Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.

The Church
STC seeks to equip the church with trained people who will bring the message of salvation to the lost through teaching of the Word; and biblical counselling to help those who are struggling with various emotional problems to face the normal vicissitudes of life. We live in a time where there are many mental and spiritual disorders, which are causing people to lose control. Those situations can be overwhelming for some people, which often leave them in mental anguish. Although we are Christians, we do face the same cares and circumstances of life, which cause depression and other disorders.
Programs
For these reasons, Shekinah Theological College is a response to the leading of the Holy Spirit, Who is our Guide and Teacher. We have prepared a wide range of programs specially designed for those who have been called into ministry to work for the Lord. Our desire is to help the student to achieve and answer his or her calling, and to aspire to great things in the Kingdom of God. It is our hope that you have been called into ministry by God, and your response in enrolling at STC is to fulfill His purpose.
Please work with the Holy Spirit, as you prayerfully make your selections.
All our programs are based on the Scriptures.
