BOLDNESS TO APPROACH GOD

WE HAVE ACCESS TO THE THRONE OF GOD TO ENTER AT ANY TIME

What hinders you from going to God with your cares? What is standing in your way? God will receive you, but you must take the initial step. He is always in the same place waiting for you to enter into His presence. If you are concerned about your sins, your way of living, your past or whatever you believe is the hindrance. Hear what His word says:
John 3:16-17, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God
.

COME BOLDLY
Hebrews 10:19-22
Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
And having an high priest over the house of God;
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water
.
Hebrews 4:16: Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. We have no need to fear entering the presence of God.
We must accept the finished work of Calvary, and the power in the blood to cleanse us from sin through the word. It is important to accept and believe by faith through the word concerning the purpose, power and work of the Cross.

FREE ACCESS
By accepting Jesus Christ into our hearts, we automatically gain access to God. We should not fear when we come into His presence because we have that right to do so because of our spiritual adoption through Jesus Christ.

  1. Freedom to approach – Philippians 4:6: Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving: let your requests be made known unto God.
  2. Confidence when asking – I John 5:14-15: And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us:
    And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
  3. Liberty to receive privilegesGalatians 5:1: Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. This is freedom in Christ through His grace.
  4. Fearlessness – 2 Timothy 1:7: for God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
  5. There is no guiltRomans 8:1: There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. This is a privilege given to believers as a result of acknowledging God in our life.

Romans 8:14-17
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba Father.
The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with [him], that we may be also glorified together. These verses give clear evidence of our acceptance by God when we approach Him in prayer with faith and trust for His divine will.
Hebrews 10:23, Let us hold fast the profession of (our) faith without wavering: [for he is faithful that promised]. Profession here means confessing about the truth and reality about Jesus if we accept Him as the Son of God and the Saviour of the world. It means we recognize and accept Him.
Hebrews 10:24, And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works. To provoke means to motivate, encourage, push, and incite to go good.
Hebrews 10:25, Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting (one another): and so much the more as ye see day approaching. This verse clarifies the mood of this text showing that we need each other for support and encouragement.
