Jesus Christ is the greatest leader mankind has ever known.
He began His ministry with prayer before making His board selection of those who would work with Him (Luke 18:1).
All leaders should emulate the leadership example of Jesus Christ.
Christian Leaders should lay the foundation with prayer
to seek God’s guidance and direction (Proverbs 3:5-6).
If Jesus began with prayer, then we all should follow His leadership example.
As a leader, Jesus was forgiving, patient, kind; and He taught from His own lifestyle.

Pray for Direction and Guidance

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication
with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Philippians 4:6

Pray and seek God’s guidance.

You need a Plan
Where there is no vision, the people perish:
but he that keeps the law, happy is he. Proverbs 29:18

You will need People
Where no counsel is, the people fall:
but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety. Proverbs 11:14

Collaboration

Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established. Proverbs 15:24.
One of the most significant indications of an effective spiritual leader is that he/she is a visionary, with the ability to delegate and motivate others for positive interpersonal relationships and harmony, especially in the Body of Christ.

Jesus was the perfect model for leadership; Who did not coerce or used guile. Instead, He prepared with prayer and then called His followers. He gave each member of His group the opportunity to grow and excel. When anyone failed, He was forgiving with readiness to encourage and strengthen, so that no one would be lost. Everyone had an opportunity for personal growth.

Jesus did not seek for fame or wealth, but demonstrated that the Kingdom of God was not about affluence or selfish endeavours, but for the winning of the souls of men by seeking the lost.

Jesus said in John 6:38 “For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.”

Anyone who is called by the Lord to be a leader must understand that this position is one of servant-hood with total dependence upon the Holy Spirit for inspiration and guidance. Unless the leader understands and accepts these concepts and more, that person is not ready or was not called to lead souls to Christ.

Spiritual leadership here refers to anyone called by God, who is Holy Spirit-anointed and controlled, with Christ-like attitudes, and who has a specific duty in the Body of Christ serving in the local church or any ministerial position, for the spreading of the Gospel.

Degree programs will be selected and prepared from the course content outline for each level of competency. Core program content and structure will be decided by the college. Consideration will be given to mature students with relevant experience, college credits or who show excellent competence in knowledge and delivery of the Word.

Tuition costs will be sent after registration is received and approved. However, students will be given all information pertaining to costs, and payment plans with information to help them in their decision to study at STC. Depending on the circumstances, some students will be given assistance based on personal needs.

At the end of each program, all final course assessments will be decided by the college. No certificate of completion will be awarded until all payments to the college have been received. We ask students to be honest and fair as we will do the same for them.

By God’s grace, each student can have an excellent experience here at Shekinah Theological College, as we reach the world for Christ with the Word.

For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war:
and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.
Proverbs 24:6
