Trust in the Lord

Psalm 127:1

Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh (but) in vain.

These are timely words which are appropriate for any situation. Regardless of what we do, or who does what, Jesus Christ is still the answer. Our faith should propel us into trusting Him to guide, direct, comfort and protect us. Nothing meets the Lord by surprise. He knows everything before we do. While we may be alarmed and surprised at the vicissitudes of life , the God whom we serve has been working on a solution before we call upon Him.

For the most part, mankind seems confident that whatever happens they have the answer and there is no need for God’s intervention; but this is not so. Some may have some answers, but in the midst of all their manipulation and administration, failures will occur nor can they please everyone.

Why not trust in God and put your confidence in Him. He still cares and no matter what the situation maybe, God is still the answer.

Proverbs 3:5-7
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

Whether you believe in God or not, there comes a time when we need to hold on to something or someone. This is your time to hold on to God and trust in Him.
