Do Not Forget the All-Mighty God
If we forget God, Satan will rule
The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
II Chronicles 14
And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O LORD, thou art our God; let not man prevail against thee.
If God is no longer relevant in the lives of people, Satan will rule no matter who or what the situation may be. The Scripture clearly states that those who forget God will be turned to destruction. Satan’s aim is to steal, kill, and to destroy, and he does not care how he does it or to whom: whether it is a nation or a church.
It is time for the churches to respond to the call in Joel 2:12-13, Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.
How long will the church sit at ease while the enemy is deceiving the vulnerable and those seeking assurance in finding peace with God? God is merciful, and He will forgive. The church has been asleep while the enemy has brought destruction and ruin.
Who is on the Lord’s side?
