Genesis 2:18
And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

We may not know of God’s plans even for ourselves, but there is always a reason for what He does with His creation. God created the world in knowledge, understanding and wisdom. Everything was planned and made ready for man who was the last of His creation. Having made this person, God saw that Adam was alone and needed companionship, communication exchange, love and having another human being as himself. Genesis 2:18. God had an answer; and it was marriage.

God’s plan for marriage, which is the foundation for family life is the most unique relationship upon earth because the two persons become one not physically, but in essence. ” Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh” (Genesis 2:24). This is God’s interpretation, plan and purpose for marriage.
