Psalm 127:3
Lo, children [are] an heritage of the LORD: [and] the fruit of the womb [is his] reward.
Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Although we hear that parenting did not come with a manual, this is definitely not true. God has given us everything we need for both life and godliness [II Peter 1:3].
God in His wisdom knew exactly what we would need when He made man and provided everything pertaining to godliness, morality, and building good character. People may differ, but the truths are written in the Bible in plain and simple language for everyone to understand. God does not leave Himself without a witness.
Parents have the God-given right to raise their children in the fear of God acknowledging that He is holy, and He created us all. Training begins at home with parents guiding and directing their children.
