II Timothy 3:13

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

It is not difficult to notice that this word is evident in all areas of life today; regardless of the position, beliefs, or interests of many people. The deceiver is out there, and he is having a great time. What is so sad is that many do not acknowledge or even care to think that they are being deceived; they accept each act carte blanche without question: similar to a blank cheque – you spend without discretion.

Indeed, Jesus said,” And he spoke a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? Shall they not both fall into the ditch?” (Luke 6:39).

Seemingly, some people do not care, or they are just oblivious of what is evident around them. Truly, there are some very blind people who are leading others whose eyes are just as darkened as their own. “Can the blind lead the blind? Shall they not both fall into the ditch?”

Finally, let all Christians follow the admonition in I John 4:1ff, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”
