Take Care of Your Own Affairs

One (thing) have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. Psalm 27:4

We each have a duty to serve God in Spirit and in truth, but if the flesh dominates our lives, we will not be able to serve Him the way we ought. We must follow the teaching by Paul to seek to please the Spirit and not the flesh.

Moreover, the flesh does nor profit our spiritual life. We must put the flesh to death in order to please the Lord. Take care of your own life so that you will be ready when the Lord calls you.
