The Peace of God
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you:
not as the world giveth, give I unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
John 14:27
Despite what the world will do to create a sense of calmness and peace around us, only God has that power to give us peace in the midst of confusion.
We may even try to make peace with others when there has been a dispute, but in some situations. the effort goes to no avail.
It is only through the Lord Jesus Christ that we can have the peace which passes all human understanding (Philippians 4:7).
