They Tried My Lord and Master

At this time of the year, we are reminded that a price was paid for our sins by the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He paid the price that we would be reconciled with God. It is not about a day, but the fact that we were all sinners who needed a Saviour. While the sacrifice of animals was used previous to Jesus’ death, their blood could not cleanse the stain from our souls which sin created.
We do not celebrate a day,
but rather, we are reminded that
Our Saviour died for us on Calvary.
