The Good Shepherd
John 10:11-14
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep.
But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd,
whose own the sheep are not, sees the wolf coming,
and leaves the sheep, and flees: and the wolf catches them, and scatters the sheep.
The hireling flees, because he is an hireling, and cares not for the sheep.
I am the good shepherd, and know my [sheep], and am known of mine.
Do you trust your leader to teach you the word of God? There are many persons with titles who are posing as men and women of God; but are they sincere, truthful or just imposters. John 10:12-13

The hireling flees, because he is an hireling, and cares not for the sheep. These verses should answer the question concerning your leader.
